US air marshal abandons her stacked firearm in Delta flight's latrine

New York: A US air marshal on a New York bound Delta flight left her stacked administration weapon in the airplane's latrine where it was found by a traveler, as indicated by a media report.

The episode occurred on April 6, on board a Delta flight from Manchester to Kennedy International Airport.

Notwithstanding the security pass, the marshal was appointed to a flight a couple days after the fact, the paper stated, citing individuals acquainted with the case.

The Transportation Security Administration, the parent organization of the air marshal benefit, said it knew about the scene however that it would not remark freely on inward matters. It included that it was "looking into the conditions of this episode."

"You can't have incompetent individuals leaving weapons in a restroom," said Craig Sawyer, a previous air marshal.
